The Arizona Cardinals secured a much-needed victory against the New England Patriots with a 30-17 win at State Farm Stadium, breaking their three-game losing streak. The victory keeps them in contention for the playoffs, especially after the Seattle Seahawks' loss to the Green Bay Packers pushed the Los Angeles Rams into first place in the NFC West.

Quarterback Kyler Murray emphasized the importance of focusing on each game, stating, "Honestly dude, I'm not looking forward at all. It's got to be that way. We took care of business today." James Conner played a pivotal role with a 110-yard rushing day and two touchdowns. Trey McBride contributed with nine catches, while Murray completed 23-of-30 passes for 224 yards without any turnovers.

Coach Jonathan Gannon praised his team, saying, "I told them they earned the right to win today, the way they practiced." The defense also had significant contributions with goal-line stands and an interception by Sean Murphy-Bunting that led to a touchdown drive.

Conner's performance was crucial as he surpassed 100 scrimmage yards for the eighth time this season. He expressed satisfaction with his offensive line's performance: "It's definitely a good start. The game of football is won up front and I felt the line brought it today."

The Cardinals overcame early injuries to linebackers Mack Wilson Sr., who suffered a concussion, and Jesse Luketa, who sustained a thigh injury. Defensive coordinator Nick Rallis was credited by Gannon for managing these challenges effectively.

Linebacker Kyzir White noted their focus on winning despite needing help from other teams: "We know we might need some help along the way to get to where we want to go. As long as we can control us winning, I feel like the chips are going to fall where they're supposed to fall."

Looking ahead, the Cardinals will face Carolina next week as they continue their pursuit of playoff hopes.
