The Cardinals have announced Roberto Del Real as the recipient of the 2024 Inspire Change Changemaker Award. This recognition is for his contributions to social justice efforts.

Del Real will be honored at the upcoming Cardinals Inspire Change game this Sunday. He will receive a $10,000 donation from the NFL Foundation, which he can direct to a nonprofit organization of his choice.

The Changemaker Award acknowledges individuals in each NFL market who make significant community impacts in areas such as Education, Economic Advancement, Police-Community Relations, and Criminal Justice Reform.

Currently serving as the Director of Community Services at Chicanos Por La Causa, Del Real manages programs that aim to improve life quality for people across Arizona. His work includes providing meals and support at senior centers, creating STEM education opportunities for youth, family assistance programs, and immigration services. Additionally, he leads the Nahui Ollin Wellness Program to promote cultural identity and civic engagement among high school students statewide.

Del Real is committed to mentoring young people and sharing knowledge through his professional and personal endeavors. He has played a key role in helping the Cardinals focus on assisting youth in need. Chicanos Por La Causa has been involved in several team activities such as "Shop with a Jock," benefiting from gameday raffles, and attending training camp practices.
