For 25 years, the Pinnacle boys basketball team has been a prominent force on the court under the leadership of head coach Charlie Wilde. Since 1999, Coach Wilde has guided the Pioneers through numerous successful seasons, emphasizing both competitive play and sportsmanship.

Coach Wilde reflects on his career by stating that "the most rewarding part of his job is watching his players grow and improve." Together with his wife, he has dedicated a quarter-century to developing the basketball program and mentoring young athletes. His influence extends beyond athletic skills as he fosters positive relationships with players, offering guidance and support that continues even after they graduate.

Alumni frequently return to Pinnacle to volunteer and contribute to the ongoing development of the basketball program. This enduring connection was evident during a recent celebration marking Coach Wilde's 25th anniversary with the team. The event included current and former players attending a game against Millennium earlier this month. During halftime, attendees honored both past and present players in an atmosphere filled with nostalgia.
