Ruben Gallego, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 3rd district since 2015, has been vocal on social media regarding recent political developments and policy concerns. Known for his straightforward communication style, Gallego has shared his views on both international relations and domestic issues through a series of tweets.

On March 9, 2025, Ruben Gallego extended congratulations to the newly elected Prime Minister Mark J. Carney of Canada. In his tweet, Gallego emphasized the longstanding friendship between the United States and Canada. He stated: "Congratulations to newly elected Prime Minister @MarkJCarney." He further expressed optimism about future collaborations by highlighting decades of shared values and mutual respect that have fortified economic partnerships between the two nations.

The following day, March 10, 2025, Gallego addressed concerns related to Arizona's upcoming wildfire season. He criticized hiring freezes attributed to former President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, which he claimed would result in fewer firefighters being available to protect communities. His tweet read: "Arizona is about to face wildfire season and thanks to Trump and Elon’s hiring freeze..." He described this situation as not only imprudent but also perilous.

Later that same day, Gallego took aim at policies impacting Medicaid under the leadership of Trump and Musk. Accusing them of cutting funding from Medicaid to finance tax breaks for billionaires, he posted: "Trump and Musk are gutting Medicaid just to bankroll tax breaks for billionaires".
