PVSchools is reaching out to freshman and sophomore families with an invitation to participate in a virtual event aimed at helping students plan their future educational and career paths. The event, titled "College and Career 101 Freshman & Sophomore Focus Night," is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, from 6 to 7 p.m. It will be conducted online via Google Meet.

The school district's College and Career Department organizes various informational sessions throughout the year. These sessions are designed to assist students and their families in understanding post-secondary options and navigating essential topics such as accessing student support services, college preparation timelines, Arizona Board of Regents requirements, standardized testing like the ACT & SAT exams, financial aid applications through FAFSA, and utilizing tools like Project Benjamin (BENJI) for support.

The department emphasizes that senior year approaches quickly and encourages participation in this session to help set students on a successful path toward their future goals.

For further details about the event or other resources offered by PVSchools, interested parties are encouraged to visit the college and careers section of their website.
