The Phoenix Mercury, in collaboration with Nike, has introduced a new Rebel Edition uniform that honors the history of basketball in the Valley and celebrates the team's dedicated fan base. Alongside this, they have revealed a matching Rebel court, marking them as the first WNBA team to introduce an alternate court for an entire season.

“This uniform and court are dedicated to our fans and to the Valley itself for helping to bring our 28-year franchise to this watershed moment in women’s sports,” said Mercury President Vince Kozar. He added that under Mat Ishbia's leadership, the organization is committed to advancing WNBA investments by creating a second court specifically designed for an alternate uniform—a standard practice in the NBA.

The new uniform features a pixelated sunset gradient along its sides, inspired by Arizona's vibrant skies. It includes a "PHX" script across the chest with an orange-highlighted X celebrating their passionate fan base known as the X-Factor. This design links back to Arizona sports history, particularly echoing the popular Suns’ “Valley” jersey.

This Rebel Edition will be part of Phoenix’s three uniforms for 2024, alongside Heroine (white) and Explorer (purple and orange gradient) Editions. The team will wear it throughout their season starting on May 25 against Dallas Wings at Footprint Center.

All jerseys this year will feature Partake Foods' badge on the left shoulder due to a partnership with Cleveland Avenue introducing rotating jersey badges. Fans can purchase these jerseys online or at designated locations in Phoenix.

Phoenix begins their 2024 season against Las Vegas Aces on May 14 in a nationally televised game on ESPN2. Their home schedule kicks off on May 18 against Atlanta Dream. Tickets are available for all home games at phoenixmercury.com/single-game-tickets.
