Arizona State Rep. Matthew Gress recently received the endorsement of the Greater Phoenix Chamber PAC, a leading pro-business political action committee. Gress, a Republican representing Legislative District 4, expressed pride in the recognition and highlighted Arizona as a hub for free enterprise and opportunity.

“Free enterprise is the magic of America,” Gress wrote in a Sept. 18 social media post on X. “Arizona is ground zero for freedom, free enterprise, and wide-open opportunity.  I’m proud to receive the backing of Greater Phoenix’s premier business leadership organization: Greater Phoenix Chamber PAC.”

Rep. Gress's post was in response to an announcement from the Greater Phoenix Chamber PAC saying that they were officially endorsing him for reelection as state representative for Arizona's Legislative District 4.

“The Greater Phoenix Chamber PAC is proud to endorse incumbent Matthew Gress for re-election in LD 4,” the Greater Phoenix Chamber PAC wrote. “Thank you for your steadfast leadership and standing up for the business community!”

The Greater Phoenix Chamber PAC is a political action committee that supports pro-business candidates and policies at the state and local levels. The organization advocates for the interests of the Chamber's member businesses by engaging in political campaigns and influencing public policy, particularly around issues of economic development and business growth in the Phoenix area.

Elected in 2022, Matthew Gress is a Republican state representative for Arizona's Legislative District 4. He is a former public school teacher and budget expert with a background in local government and public finance. Gress has served as a school board member and the state's budget chief, focusing on education funding, border security, public safety, and reducing living costs. He advocates for increased teacher pay, election integrity, and fiscal responsibility. Raised in a small Oklahoma town, he now resides in Arizona with his partner Daniel.
