As the offseason draws to a close, the Arizona Cardinals are preparing for the upcoming season with renewed enthusiasm. Jalen Thompson, entering his sixth season, reflected on Monday's media day. "The whole vibe, it's like we're more of a family now," Thompson said. "Everyone's bought in and everybody's doing the right things."

The Cardinals have undergone significant changes under coach Jonathan Gannon, and players have embraced this cultural shift. Tight end Trey McBride shared his optimism: "The guys are wanting to be here and the guys love being here. The team looks good and I'm excited to see where we go."

Monday marked the eve of mandatory minicamp, with players arriving for physicals and other pre-practice tasks. Despite being voluntary since April, nearly the entire 91-man roster attended.

Rookie safety Rabbit Taylor-Demerson spoke about learning from veterans Thompson and Budda Baker: "Listening to those guys talk is everything that I want to be." Thompson expressed pride in mentoring younger players: "I feel like me and Budda are doing the exact same thing with these rookies."

Quarterback Kyler Murray's leadership has also been pivotal. Whether organizing trips or supporting teammates like defensive lineman Darius Robinson, Murray believes chemistry off the field will translate on it. "I know we were tight last year. I feel like this team is even more," Murray said.

Thompson concluded by expressing his eagerness for the season: "I'm ready to go hit somebody right now."
