There were 869 African American students enrolled in Roosevelt Elementary District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 3.2% more than the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Roosevelt Elementary District welcomed 7,149 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, African American students comprised 12.2% of the student body to be the second most represented ethnicity in the district.
