On Wednesday, February 15, early voting begins for the upcoming City of Phoenix March 14, 2023 Runoff Election. In this election, voters who reside in Districts 6 and 8 will elect a Council Member.

Vote Early by Mail

Voters on the Active Early Voting List (AEVL) will automatically receive an early ballot by mail unless they submitted a request not to receive a ballot. Early ballots will be mailed beginning Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

Voters not in the AEVL who wish to receive an early ballot by mail may submit a request online for an early ballot to the Phoenix City Clerk Department at phoenix.gov/elections or by calling 602-261-VOTE (8683). Requests for an early ballot by mail must be received no later than 5 PM on Friday, March 3, 2023.

Early ballots are available in alternative formats including braille and large print, upon request. To request an alternative format of the early ballot, please call the Phoenix City Clerk Department at 602-261-VOTE (8683).

Early In-Person Voting

Individuals who wish to vote early in person rather than by mail can vote during the 27 days before the election, from Wednesday, February 15, 2023, through Friday, March 10, 2023, during business hours (8AM – 5PM) at Phoenix City Hall located at 200 W. Washington St., 15th Floor, Phoenix, AZ 85003. Before receiving a ballot, voters must provide valid identification when voting early in person.

Accessible voting devices that allow voters with disabilities to vote independently will be available for this election on the 15th floor.
