It's the week of REVERB! We're celebrating by spotlighting the composers and other program contributors!

Described by The New York Times as a “social conscience, multimedia collaborator, system builder, rhapsodist, historical thinker and multicultural gateway,” VIJAY IYER has carved out a unique path as an influential, prolific, shape-shifting presence in twenty-first-century music. A composer and pianist active across multiple musical communities, Iyer has created a consistently innovative, emotionally resonant body of work over the last twenty-five years, earning him a place as one of the leading music-makers of his generation. Iyer's piece will be played on Friday's program.

American singer/conductor, Nathan De'Shon Myers has established himself as a versatile artist with international appeal. His hybrid career spans more than 23 years and includes professional performance in opera, jazz and gospel, choral & opera conducting, private voice instruction, classroom teaching, and educational leadership. He has been a featured soloist with opera companies and orchestras throughout the United States and across Europe. Myers will narrate Rzewski's piece which will be played on Friday's program.
