Istock 000010436389 medium

Agave Branch Library recently issued the following announcement.

Date and Time: Tuesday, January 11, 2022; 9:30 AM - 10:15 AM

Location: Agave Library - Meeting Room

Event Details:

The City of Phoenix follows CDC Guidelines for reducing COVID risk. Everyone over the age of 2 visiting a city facility, including libraries, is required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. If you need a mask for you or your child, please ask at the Desk. Attendance at in-person programs is reduced to accommodate physical distancing. Thank you for understanding.

Who’s it for? Children three to five years old and their favorite grownups

What will you do? You and your child will get a head start on kindergarten! Share books and activities that build kindergarten skills in class and are easily practiced at home.

What will we learn? Learn kindergarten basics like letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. You and your child will also go beyond the basics to work on social and emotional skills that all children need for school.

Tickets for Storytime will be first come first serve and handed out a half hour before the start of a program. Due to safety restrictions, seating is limited and we ask that each family bring no more than two grownups.

Support for early literacy programs is provided by a grant from First Things First, which partners with families and communities to give all Arizona children the opportunity to arrive at kindergarten healthy and ready to succeed. Learn more at FirstThingsFirst.org    #pplstorytime #toolsforschool
