Central Arizona College issued the following announcement on July 16.
This week's spotlight shines a light on Callie Edgewater. Callie attended Ganado High School and was interested in CAC because she, "liked the idea of smaller class sizes" as well as the location. Callie's interest in the Rodeo Team along with her sister attending CAC cemented her decision to enroll.
She graduated in May 2021 with an Associate of Science Degree. She participated on the Rodeo Team and in addition to the small class sizes, appreciated the professors. In particular, she credits Engineering Professor Dr. Armineh Noravian as instrumental to her Engineering pathway. She says of her instructors, "I feel like I have learned much from them and now I am ready to use what I have learned at a University."
The University where she will apply her CAC education will be Arizona State University to pursue a Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering. Before her ASU classes begin this fall, she plans to spend time with her family and says, "I enjoyed my time at Central Arizona College and now I look forward on continuing my education at Arizona State University."
We can't wait to see where your Environmental Engineering degree leads you, Callie. You make us VaqueroProud.
