Graduates earn 525 degrees, certificates from Refrigeration School Inc

About 99 percent of the 525 degrees and certificates handed out by Refrigeration School Inc in 2017-18 were to students in engineering technology and engineering-related fields programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Phoenix conferred 459 certificates and 61 associate's degrees in engineering technology and engineering-related fields programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in electromechanical technology/electromechanical engineering technology. Data shows the school gave out 316 certificates in electromechanical technology/electromechanical engineering technology, followed by 143 certificates in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration engineering technology/technician and 61 associate's degrees in energy management and systems technology/technician.

The school enrolled 912 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
