Phoenix home prices rise in January 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2018 in Phoenix rose by $19,000 while total sales increased by 1.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2018, there were 2,055 homes sold, with a median sale price of $215,000 - a 9.7% increase over the $196,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 2,021 homes sold in Phoenix in January 2017.

The median sales tax in Phoenix for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,261, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for January 2018.
