On April 7, 2025, Petersen expressed his eagerness to collaborate with Congressman Andy Biggs, emphasizing Biggs’ background as a former prosecutor and Senate President, and labeling him as a "proven conservative." Petersen stated, "Congressman Biggs is a former prosecutor, Senate President and proven conservative. I look forward to working with him for a safe, free, and prosperous AZ!"

The following day, on April 8, 2025, Petersen shared his experience of hosting Tom Homan, the Border Czar, at a session of the Arizona legislature. He conveyed enthusiasm about future collaborations aimed at addressing border issues, declaring, "It was an honor to host Border Czar Tom Homan at a joint session of the Arizona legislature. I look forward to working with Tom when I’m Attorney General so we can solve the crisis at our border once and for all."

Later that same day, Petersen announced his participation in an event titled "100 Days of Trump," alongside Seth Leibsohn and Larry Elder, indicating his anticipation for the occasion.
