Kyler Murray, the quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals, is currently on his first visit to South Korea. This trip holds personal significance as it connects him to his Korean heritage through his grandmother. In discussions with South Korean media, Murray expressed pride in his cultural roots, attributing this sentiment to his mother's influence during his upbringing.

"It's who I am and it's in me," Murray shared with KBS Korea. "Why would I not be proud?"

Murray described the reception he received from the South Korean people as "surreal." Despite being thousands of miles away from home, football remains a topic of interest. When asked about potentially playing Olympic flag football for South Korea, Murray acknowledged logistical challenges and noted that any decision would require discussion with the Cardinals.

Reflecting on his athletic career, Murray reiterated his commitment to football over baseball, stating, "I would never go back and switch it if I could."

In addition to discussing cultural ties and sports options, Murray focused on his ambitions with the Cardinals. He acknowledged room for growth in his performance: "I haven't done enough."

He emphasized the importance of balancing enjoyment outside of football while maintaining focus on achieving success with the team. "My main focus is getting to the Super Bowl and winning it not only for the organization but the fans and the people that believed in me, my teammates, everybody," he said.

While acknowledging that winning a Super Bowl won't define him entirely or satisfy all aspects of life, Murray stressed its significance as a goal: "to bring a Super Bowl to the state of Arizona."

When questioned about how close the Cardinals are to reaching this milestone, Murray responded optimistically: "Not far at all," adding that "anything is possible."
