As spring approaches, Peter Kjome, President and CEO of the Phoenix Symphony, reflects on the organization's progress and achievements. In a recent update, he acknowledged the contributions of board members, musicians, staff, and community supporters in making the symphony one of Arizona's premier cultural institutions.
Kjome announced that the 2025/26 season will soon be unveiled. "This week, we will announce a spectacular 2025/26 Season," he stated. The upcoming season promises exceptional programs featuring renowned guest artists and special events.
He emphasized the impact of music in connecting and inspiring people throughout this season. "This season has been a testament to the power of music to connect, uplift, and inspire," Kjome remarked.
The symphony's Community Engagement and Education programs continue to reach diverse audiences across Arizona. These initiatives introduce young students to live orchestral performances.
A notable collaboration with the Phoenix Holocaust Association for the 2025 Holocaust Remembrance Day Commemoration is scheduled for April 27 at Symphony Hall. "We invite you to Symphony Hall as our community remembers this significant moment in history," said Kjome.
Kjome expressed gratitude towards supporters who attend concerts or provide philanthropic aid. He noted their essential role in sustaining the symphony's future: "None of this would be possible without you."
He concluded by inviting feedback from community members via email at [email protected].
Peter Kjome signed off with appreciation for all those involved with the Phoenix Symphony.
