The Cardinals are moving forward with plans for a new $100-million training facility, coinciding with the release of the NFL Players Association's recent player survey. The team finished last in the survey, which evaluated teams across 11 categories, scoring particularly low in facility-related areas.

The Cardinals addressed these concerns by stating their commitment to improving conditions: "Our goal is to provide the best possible environment, facilities and resources and to give our team the greatest opportunity to succeed." They noted that planning and design began several months ago for a new facility at their existing Tempe location, with a targeted completion date of 2027.

Rossetti, an architecture firm experienced in designing NFL facilities, has been hired for this project. The Cardinals emphasized their ongoing efforts: "We will continue to explore all the other ways -- large and small -- that we can get better in every single area of our operation."

The significance of new facilities was highlighted by improvements seen by other teams such as the Chargers and Falcons, who saw significant jumps in their survey rankings after making major upgrades.

A spokesman for the Cardinals indicated that more details about the state-of-the-art facility would be released later.
