The Governing Board of PVSchools is actively engaged in the search for a new superintendent. The board expressed gratitude for Dr. Jason Reynolds' leadership and acknowledged the high standards set by him and his predecessors.

In January, the board partnered with the Arizona School Administrators (ASA) to assist in this search. This collaboration allows access to ASA's national network, broadening the pool of qualified candidates. The search process follows a six-phase timeline, detailed on the Superintendent Search page on PVSchools' website. Phase one, which involved developing a profile for potential applicants, has been completed.

The board seeks input from parents, guardians, staff members, students, and community members regarding desirable qualities in the next superintendent through a brief survey available until 3 pm on February 28. Survey results will inform initial candidate selection.

Further community feedback will be sought as the search progresses into later phases. Updates will be communicated through various media channels and on the Superintendent Search page.

Anne Greenberg, President of the Governing Board, emphasized that appointing a superintendent is a significant responsibility for any district governing board. The board looks forward to engaging with candidates and receiving community input throughout this process.

"Thank you for your contributions to these crucial efforts!" stated Greenberg on behalf of the Governing Board.
