State Representative Leo Biasiucci announced the passage of HB2165 in the Arizona House. The bill proposes changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) by directing the Arizona Department of Economic Security to seek a federal waiver. This waiver would prevent SNAP benefits from being used to purchase soda, aiming to ensure that taxpayer money supports nutritious food choices for families in Arizona.
