During his season-ending press conference, Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon was uncertain about making changes to his coaching staff. However, after a season where the team finished below .500, Gannon indicated that adjustments were likely.

"I have to do a better job with everything that we're doing," Gannon stated. "Our process, how we structure things, connecting with the players, making sure I hold the players accountable, the coaches accountable, how we evaluate things."

The Cardinals will enter 2025 with significant changes to their coaching staff. Justin Frye joins as the offensive line coach, replacing Klayton Adams who left for the Dallas Cowboys. Cristian Garcia has been appointed as linebackers coach following Sam Siefkes' departure to Virginia Tech. Connor Senger is promoted to pass game specialist after Spencer Whipple moved to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Winston DeLattiboudere III will take over as defensive line coach after two seasons at the University of Minnesota. Matt Feeney comes in as outside linebackers coach from the Las Vegas Raiders. Alec Osborn becomes a defensive quality control coach after working at the University of Louisiana-Monroe. These hires follow departures of Rob Rodriguez, Derrick LeBlanc, and William Peagler from similar roles.

Blaine Gautier is promoted to offensive quality control after participating in the Bill Bidwill Coaching Fellowship program for two years.

The focus on offensive and defensive lines is notable due to the Cardinals' emphasis on trench play. DeLattiboudere was a college teammate of Cardinals defensive coordinator Nick Rallis at Minnesota. Frye previously coached Paris Johnson Jr., who expressed satisfaction with Frye's hiring on social media.

"Coach Frye is a genius not only at teaching plays but teaching you why the play is being called," said Ohio State tackle Josh Simmons.

Garcia's previous experience includes working under Mike Zimmer in Dallas and alongside Drew Terrell with the Commanders.
