The Arizona Cardinals have announced that linebacker Jesse Luketa has been placed on Injured Reserve, effectively ending his regular season. Luketa sustained a thigh injury during the first quarter of last week's game against the New England Patriots.

In response to Luketa's absence, the Cardinals have promoted Milo Eifler from their practice squad to the active 53-man roster. Eifler, who joined the practice squad on October 30, has experience playing in 15 career games with Washington and Atlanta.

Luketa has been a part of the team's outside linebacking rotation this season and recorded three sacks. The Cardinals are currently facing challenges with their linebacker lineup as Mack Wilson Sr. is also out for Sunday's game due to a concussion. Wilson had been contributing both on the edge and at his usual inside linebacker position.

Additionally, starting left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. will be unavailable after injuring his knee last week, along with running back Trey Benson who suffered an ankle sprain.
