Superintendent reflects on school achievements as winter break begins

As the winter break approaches, Dr. Jason W. Reynolds, Superintendent, has expressed gratitude for the community's support and partnership over the past year. He acknowledged the collective efforts of students, staff, families, and community members that have led to significant achievements in schools.

Dr. Reynolds highlighted various student accomplishments this year: "This year saw many student achievements, including College Board national recognitions, National Merit semifinalists, Coca-Cola Scholar semifinalists, a Promising Rising Educator award," among others such as state championships in volleyball and swimming.

The educators' dedication was also recognized: "Our educators continue to inspire and amaze me with their dedication to providing a high-quality education for every student." Staff achievements included awards like the New Career and Technical Education Teacher of the Year award and several National Board Certifications.

Dr. Reynolds emphasized that these successes reflect the strong foundation built within the district: "These accomplishments...are a testament to the strong foundation we have built together."

He concluded with well-wishes for the holiday season: "I hope this winter break provides a well-deserved opportunity for rest...May the new year bring joy, health, and continued success to you and yours."

Dr. Jason W. Reynolds extended his warmest wishes for a happy holiday season and a wonderful winter break.
