The Cardinals delivered on their promise to get the ball to Marvin Harrison Jr. in their 41-10 victory over the Los Angeles Rams at State Farm Stadium. While Harrison's performance was notable, it was not the sole factor in the win. Kyler Murray played one of his most efficient games, contributing both through passing and rushing, while the running game amassed 231 yards. The defense also excelled, with Dennis Gardeck achieving a career-best three sacks.

Harrison had four catches for 130 yards in the first quarter alone, including two touchdowns of 23 and 60 yards. "Marv gave us work out there," said Murray.

The Cardinals' offense totaled 489 yards, with coach Jonathan Gannon emphasizing that targeting Harrison was part of the game plan. "You guys are going to think I'm a liar," Gannon said, "but the ball went where it should go."

Murray finished with a perfect passer rating of 158.3, completing 17-of-21 passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns without turnovers. He also rushed for 59 yards on five attempts, becoming only the second player in NFL history to achieve such stats in a single game.

"(Kyler) was lights out today," Gannon stated.

Despite injuries affecting key players like Cooper Kupp and other offensive linemen, the Rams struggled against Arizona's defense. The Cardinals sacked Matthew Stafford five times and limited them to just 53 rushing yards.

"We know who we are," said Gardeck.

Looking ahead, the Cardinals will face the Lions next week after Detroit's upset loss to Tampa Bay.

"The secret to these wins... is to pretend you don't have any," guard Will Hernandez noted.

A crucial moment came at the end of the first half when Arizona's defense stopped a potential Rams touchdown on fourth down at their own four-yard line. This defensive stand set up another touchdown drive for Arizona early in the second half.

James Conner contributed significantly with a total of 122 rushing yards, while Budda Baker led defensively with eight tackles. Tight end Trey McBride added six catches for 67 yards and scored by recovering a fumble in the end zone.

Harrison acknowledged areas for improvement despite his strong performance: "We've got to get that fixed."

Overall, both teams faced challenges due to injuries but emerged relatively unscathed from this match-up.
