In a remarkable demonstration of sportsmanship and collective effort, Horizon High School and North Canyon High School students have seized multiple Division II Track and Field State Championships. This achievement marks a significant milestone for both institutions.

Horizon and North Canyon High Schools are recognized for their outstanding track and field programs, with each victory carrying its unique significance. Their diligent efforts were rewarded at the state championship, where they outshone their rivals, demonstrating their speed, strength, and agility.

The preparation for a state championship demands discipline, perseverance, and resilience - traits that these young student-athletes have shown in ample measure. It also reflects on the quality of coaching and support provided by Horizon and North Canyon High Schools. They have fostered an environment where young athletes can flourish and surpass expectations.

We extend our sincere congratulations to the students and coaches at both North Canyon and Horizon.

North Canyon High School's champions include Devyn Henderson (100m, 200m & 400m), Rebekah-Jade Garrett (100m hurdles & 4X100m Relay), Demetria Kossigbo (4X100m Relay), Tianna Becketts (4X100m Relay), Oliviah Hussey (4X100m Relay), Emanuel Hernandez (Shot Put & Discus).

For Horizon High School, Donovan Bitticks emerged victorious in the 800m, 1600m & 3200m events.
