Department of Justice Investigation Update Presentation Coming to All City Precincts

The City of Phoenix is inviting members of the community to attend a presentation on the status of the Department of Jutsice Investigation. Each of these community presentations will be given by a member of the Phoenix Police Department's Executive Staff, and a member of the City of Phoenix Law Department. 

  

“The purpose of this presentation is an opportunity for the members of this community to hear directly from those of us who are responsible for responding to the DOJ so we can answer your questions and you have an opportunity to hear exactly what's been transpiring over the last two and half years," said Chief Assistant City Attorney T.J. Martin. 

  

The presentations will outline what the City of Phoenix has done to cooperate with the investigation and what steps the Phoenix Police Department has taken to continuously improve. These meetings will also provide members of the community an opprtunity to ask questions about the investigation. 

  

The City of Phoenix will be providing spanish translation services at each of these meetings for any member of the community who would prefer this option.
