Indian Gaming Benefits Arizonans

Today, Arizona Indian Gaming Association (AIGA) and Arizonans for Tribal Government Gaming (ATGG) met with the State legislature’s Indigenous Peoples Caucus to highlight the many ways Indian Gaming continues to benefit and impact Arizonans.

Senator Sally Ann Gonzalez lead the discussion along with Senator Theresa Hatathlie and Representative Mae Peshlakai. Councilman Jerold Altaha, WMAT Dist II of the White Mountain Apache Tribe provided remarks about the significant impact Indian Gaming has had in his community. AIGA’s interim director, Judy Ferreira, provided updates on the organization’s 2023 initiatives.
