The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask using the telephone and radio while inputting and accessing data on the computer. They will also react under time sensitive, stressful and critical situations, accurately follow directions in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to spell accurately. While not required, the candidate will also have completed emergency medical dispatch and emergency medical technician coursework, or have experience in these fields.
