Event Description:

Join the Valley Young Professionals as we partner with the U.S. Green Building Council on July  14th for a sustainability presentation and tour at Arizona State University (ASU) on how scientists are working on local and global sustainable solutions for the future.

You will see the new Walton Center for Planetary Health - designed to be the gateway to ASU for the community, hear from experts immersed in sustainability research, and explore the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory™.

The emergence of the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory™ at ASU is rooted in the conviction that we can and must make a meaningful contribution to ensuring a habitable planet and a future in which well-being is attainable for all humankind.

The laboratory draws on ASU’s deep commitment to use inspired research, ongoing work in sustainability, and service to the global community in which we live, explored across five core spaces: Discovery, Learning, Solutions, Networks and Engagement.

Learn about how the lab is contributing to sustainability research at ASU and how Arizona is positioned to be a leader in sustainable solutions.
