Pueblo Grande Museum issued the following announcement on July 15.
Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park will be reopening to the public on Tuesday July 20th!
We have a brand-new exhibit, “Rights and Resilience: Celebrating Native American Women”. This powerful exhibition is devoted solely to Native American women who fight for their people, their place, and their heritage. It closes September 19th, so stop by soon before it leaves!
Along with our air-conditioned galleries, we also have an outdoor trail to explore! This 1,000-year-old archaeological site was once inhabited by the Ancestral Sonoran Desert People (Hohokam). It is 2/3 of a mile and it is fully wheelchair accessible. Come and explore the excavated site and the culture and check out why our park is listed as a National Historic Landmark! Don’t forget to bring water and a hat as summer heat continues to soar!
COVID-19 Guidelines for returning: A mask or face covering, and physical distancing protocols are no longer required in City facilities for those who are fully vaccinated. We have masks available for those who want them. If you are feeling sick, or have COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home. This is critical to the health and safety of our staff and communities. We will be reopening at 75% capacity and will continue to follow the City of Phoenix guidelines.
Exhibition included with Museum Admission. Please go to pueblogrande.com for hours and admission.
We are so excited to have you back!
