81 percent of applicants to Arizona State University-Downtown Phoenix were admitted for fall 2018

At Arizona State University-Downtown Phoenix, 84 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 68 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Phoenix enrolled 11,584 students in fall 2018, including 8,702 in undergraduate and 2,882 in graduate programs, data shows. 9.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

63 percent of undergraduates are residents of Arizona, and 36 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (47 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (32 percent).

The school admitted 81 percent of the 5,763 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 31 percent enrolled.
