Senator Ruben Gallego recently expressed his concerns on a series of issues via his Twitter account. The topics covered range from calls for more transparency in U.S. tariff policies to critique on energy program cuts impacting Arizonans' electricity bills, and critiques directed at RFK Jr.

On April 2, 2025, Senator Gallego tweeted about the need for greater oversight and transparency in tariff policies. He stated, "There's a way to protect American workers without causing chaos. Today on 'Liberation Day,' I'm calling for an Inspector General at USTR so we have transparency and accountability in our tariff policies."

Later that day, Gallego focused on issues affecting Arizonans, highlighting anticipated increases in air conditioning costs. The tweet read, "Arizonans are going to pay more for air conditioning this summer Trump and Musk are making cuts to the program that lowers Arizonans’ electricity bills."

The next day, on April 3, 2025, the senator criticized RFK Jr. for decisions he perceives as hazardous. He tweeted, "RFK Jr. is putting our families in danger. He needs to answer for these reckless cuts."
