Paradise Valley High School recently honored the achievements of its students at the 2025 HOSA Future Health Care Professionals State Leadership Conference. Several students from the school received recognition, showcasing the commitment and skills of these future healthcare professionals.
The school congratulated a number of students who achieved first place in their respective competition categories. Vardhan Gudla received first place in the AAFP Family Medicine Career Test, while Rima Bala won in both the Biology Test and Human Growth and Development Event. Shyam Sathisan emerged victorious in the General Chemistry Test and Medical Law and Ethics Event. Pranjal Chetani excelled in the Human Heredity Test, and Mia Vargas was triumphant in the Math for Medical Professionals Test. Archana Gurudu secured first in the College Physics Test and Health Informatics Event, and Simone McCay claimed the top position in the Biotechnology Event. Sri Mouthika Malladi earned first place in the Family Medicine Physician Event.
"Extemporaneous Writing-Health Policy" was won by Anagha Vippagunta, and the "Healthy Living Event" was topped by Nikhil Karandikar. The "Biomedical Debate" team included Sree Ishan Kolukula, Tejas Dhulipalla, Ishaan Vyas, and Maatank Parashar. The "Health Education" team consisted of Jyotsna Subramanian, Natalie Duong, Nikhil Puttamraju, Alita John, and Sahasra Karanam. The "Public Service Announcement" team comprised Mia Vargas, Hayden Nguyen, Nile Solomon, Caden Becker, Chantel Szeto, and Nandini Warrier. Sonia Swaroop designed the winning 20th Anniversary AzHOSA Pin, and the "HOSA Happenings Newsletter" team included Giana Garabet and Samantha Naji-Talakar.
