On March 30, 2025, Senator Gallego extended warm wishes to those celebrating the conclusion of Ramadan, "Eid Mubarak! Wishing everyone celebrating the end of Ramadan a joyful and peaceful Eid al-Fitr".
Later the same day, he expressed concern over budget cuts in public health funding by RFK Jr., stating, "RFK Jr just slashed $190 MILLION from Arizona’s public health funding. That’s money to stop outbreaks and keep Arizonans safe. This is reckless.".
On March 31, 2025, Senator Gallego commemorated the contributions of labor leader Cesar Chavez, stating his commitment to Chavez’s ideals, "Cesar Chavez believed in the power of people coming together to demand change. Today, we remember his legacy and commit to carrying it forward. ¡Sí se puede!".
