Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell has announced the indictment of four men accused of assaulting former Arizona Coyotes player Paul Bissonnette. The defendants, identified as Henry Mesker, Danny Bradley, Sean Daley, and John Carroll, are facing charges related to an incident that occurred last November.

According to reports, on November 24, 2024, Bissonnette was at a Scottsdale restaurant when he observed the four individuals behaving aggressively towards the manager. Upon intervening, Bissonnette became the target of their aggression. The confrontation escalated outside into the parking lot before Bissonnette managed to escape.

The grand jury has charged all four with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. The trial is expected to take place this summer.

Attorney Mitchell emphasized that "a criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty."
