Senator Ruben Gallego has recently taken to social media to express his views on various issues, including criticisms of Elon Musk and achievements in water conservation funding. The tweets highlight his positions on corporate influence, environmental initiatives, and veteran support programs.

On March 21, 2025, Senator Gallego tweeted a critical remark about Elon Musk's business practices: "Elon Musk is only working for himself".

Later that day, he celebrated a significant achievement for Arizona's water security. At 16:30 UTC, he announced the restoration of essential Colorado River conservation funding previously frozen by the Trump administration. He expressed gratitude towards the Department of the Interior for their collaboration in this effort: "This is a big win for Arizona and our water security... This is what it means to work with anyone and everyone to deliver".

In another tweet posted at 17:58 UTC, Senator Gallego addressed concerns over transitional housing programs for service members. He accused Elon Musk of threatening these programs through DOGE and vowed to protect veterans' funding from being compromised: "Transitional housing programs like the one I just toured help our service members successfully transition to civilian life... I won’t let Elon Musk... gut funding for our veterans."
