Tire Rack has announced the appointment of Scott Clark as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective April 21, 2025. Clark transitions from a significant tenure at Michelin, where he held positions including CEO of Michelin North America and Executive Vice President at the company's headquarters in Clermont Ferrand, France. His extensive experience in the tire and automotive industry is expected to support Tire Rack's growth.

Clark expressed his enthusiasm for joining Tire Rack: "I am extremely grateful for the 29 years I spent with Michelin and have the utmost respect for the people, values, and products that make Michelin unique," he said. "I'm very excited to join the Tire Rack team and am passionate about what they have been doing for 45 years: helping consumers make informed choices about the best tire for their needs and then providing them unparalleled product availability and an outstanding experience."

Michael Joines, currently serving as CEO, will transition to executive chairman while continuing to play a leadership role in strategy development. "We're so pleased to have Scott join the team because in addition to his exceptional leadership skills and industry knowledge, he has really been a valued Tire Rack friend for many years," Joines stated.

Founded nearly 45 years ago by Joines along with Peter and Wilma Veldman in Indianapolis, Indiana, Tire Rack is known as a trusted source for independent tire testing and information. The company boasts a comprehensive inventory of tires, wheels, and accessories.

Clark will relocate to South Bend, Indiana to work at Tire Rack's headquarters starting April 21. He will also become part of The Reinalt-Thomas Corporation Board of Directors.
