The Arizona Cardinals are currently positioned with six selections for the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. Despite various online sources suggesting otherwise, the team's current draft assets have been clarified amid past trades and transactions.

The Cardinals hold their first five original picks in the initial five rounds of the draft. However, they no longer possess their sixth-round pick, which was traded to the Denver Broncos last season in exchange for linebacker Baron Browning. Additionally, their seventh-round pick was sent to the Carolina Panthers in 2022 as part of a deal involving wide receiver Robbie Anderson, now known as Robbie Chosen.

In a subsequent move last September, Arizona regained a seventh-round selection by trading linebacker Cameron Thomas to the Kansas City Chiefs. This particular pick was originally acquired by Kansas City from the New York Jets, meaning it will align with the Jets' slot in the draft order.

Monti Ossenfort, General Manager of the Cardinals, has been known for his active involvement in trades during drafts. Therefore, while six picks are presently confirmed, further changes could occur before or during this year's event.

"Understandable given all the wheeling and dealing Monti Ossenfort does," an observer noted about potential future trades that may alter this lineup.
