Ruben Gallego, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona's 3rd district since 2015, recently shared several statements on social media addressing different issues of public concern. Gallego, who has a background in the Arizona House of Representatives and holds a degree from Harvard University, took to Twitter to express his gratitude towards a rescue team, discuss avian flu vaccine development, and comment on accountability in leadership.

On January 30, 2025, Gallego expressed his appreciation for a volunteer rescue team that successfully located eight hikers caught in a snowstorm in Sedona. He acknowledged their efforts with the statement: "Grateful to this brave volunteer rescue team who found eight hikers caught in a Sedona snowstorm. Thank you for keeping Arizonans safe!"

Later that day, he addressed the issue of rising egg prices and the need for avian flu vaccine development. He criticized RFK's long-standing anti-vaccine stance and mentioned sending a letter urging him to address avian flu if confirmed: "With egg prices surging at the grocery store, HHS needs to commit to avian flu vaccine development. RFK has been vocally anti-vaccine for decades, that’s why I sent a letter urging him to answer if he’ll tackle avian flu. If confirmed I will hold him to his word."

In another post on the same day, Gallego commented on President Trump's handling of an unspecified tragedy. He emphasized the importance of accountability from leaders with the statement: "President Trump would rather throw cheap shots than take accountability. We don’t know yet what caused this tragedy. But as Commander in Chief, it’s his job to find out."
