Ruben Gallego, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 3rd district, has recently expressed his concerns and sentiments through a series of tweets. Serving since 2015, Gallego succeeded Ed Pastor and has been an active voice in national discussions. Below are his statements from late January 2025.
On January 29, 2025, Gallego addressed the Trump administration's policies by stating: "More chaos and more confusion from the Trump administration. They’re doubling down on cutting programs for our children, elderly, and veterans. We won’t let them."
Later that day, he continued to critique the administration's approach by asserting: "The White House needs to get it together. We know from folks on the ground how this chaotic confusion is endangering our communities. We’re not backing down."
On January 30, 2025, Gallego shared his condolences regarding a tragic incident at DCA airport: "Sydney and I are horrified by the crash that took place at DCA last night. Our hearts go out to everyone who lost someone on flight 5342 and the military families who lost loved ones."
