Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has announced several developments through its social media platform. The announcements include a new flight route, an upcoming virtual session on airport technology, and a highlight of an airport security guard's dedication to customer service.

On November 20, 2024, the airport revealed a new flight route starting February 7, 2025. Passengers will be able to fly from Phoenix to Pittsburgh via Allegiant Air. The tweet encouraged travelers to "explore the scenic beauty of the Steel City and indulge in the iconic Primanti Bros. sandwiches." More details can be found in their post.

The following day, on November 21, 2024, Phoenix Sky Harbor invited individuals to join a virtual session hosted by the City of Phoenix Aviation Department. Scheduled for December 12 from 1-2 p.m., this session aims to provide an overview of the Technology division and discuss technology's role in airport operations along with upcoming opportunities.
