The Greater Phoenix Chamber has announced its endorsements for the 2024 primary election. The Chamber's Political Action Committee (PAC) continues its long-standing tradition of supporting candidates who advocate for business interests, irrespective of their political affiliations.
John Moody, Chair of the Chamber PAC, emphasized the importance of backing lawmakers who are aware of the challenges businesses face and are committed to fostering policies that support Arizona's economic growth. "It is absolutely critical we support and help elect lawmakers who understand the issues impacting the success of businesses and who will work collaboratively to advance and protect policies supporting our Arizona businesses," Moody stated. He added that such efforts contribute to a prosperous economy in both the Greater Phoenix region and across Arizona.
Todd Sanders, President and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber, highlighted the significance of both the endorsement process and the PAC in advocating for business interests. "The PAC Board evaluated many well-qualified candidates and chose to make primary election endorsements of those whose policies most closely aligned with the Chamber’s mission and vision," Sanders explained. He noted that as Phoenix's economy expands, it is crucial to back candidates who grasp current business challenges and possess a clear vision for strengthening Arizona's economic future.
