Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) has announced a partnership with The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona (TRVFA), which includes a $10,000 scholarship donation to benefit PVCC nursing students.
“TRVFA’s generous donation to our nursing program has helped decrease the financial burden and lowered the barrier to higher education for several of our nursing students. The donations have resulted in the ability of our students to pursue their career aspirations while boosting their confidence and motivation to succeed,” said Jessica Bruhn, Nursing Faculty Chair at PVCC. “We look forward to continuing our partnership with TRVFA and are grateful for their generosity and support of our nursing students.”
Kim Le, a scholarship recipient, expressed her gratitude and stated, “I am deeply honored to be the recipient of the Rotary scholarship fund. This scholarship has helped me cover courses that will help obtain my degree. I am forever grateful for this generous opportunity and hope to become successful enough to pass on the good deed that was given to me.”
Managed by Rotary volunteers since its inception in the early 1990s, TRVFA operates as a multi-district project aiming to provide career and technical education grants to individuals facing financial difficulties. Their goal is to enable these individuals to achieve financial independence and contribute positively to Arizona's economy.
In addition, TRVFA qualifies as a charitable organization for Arizona tax credit contributions. To support their mission, visit TRVFA donations. Contributions can also be made directly through PVCC’s giving website.
