Rodney Beck born on August 3, 1968.

Rodney Roy Beck, born August 3, 1968, was an American professional baseball relief pitcher known for his time in Major League Baseball. Nicknamed "Shooter," he played for the San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs, and Boston Red Sox. Beck achieved significant success, amassing 286 saves over his career. He was a three-time All-Star and played a vital role in various teams' bullpens. After retiring, Beck moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he remained connected to the baseball community. He passed away on June 23, 2007, leaving behind a legacy as a skilled and reliable closer. His contributions to the sport and his connection to Phoenix are remembered and honored.
