Roosevelt Elementary District welcomed 7,149 students in 2022-23 school year

There were 7,149 students enrolled in Roosevelt Elementary District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 2.1% less than the 7,305 in the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.6% of them were boys, and 48.4% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were Latino, representing 80.7% of the Roosevelt Elementary District total enrollment.

Roosevelt Elementary District roughly covers schools within Maricopa County and has a main office in Phoenix.

Among the 19 schools in Roosevelt Elementary District, Bernard Black Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 609 students in the 2022-23 school year.
