The Frank and Sarah Hilgeman House was built in the vernacular style in north central Phoenix. Frank Hilgeman and his children built the house in the 1920's out rocks from Sunnyslope Mountain and the Salt River. Steve Schumacher, the Mayor's Office Official Historian, tells us why this home is unique.
