In-Person Voting Begins

On Wednesday, October 12, early ballots will be mailed to voters on the Active Early Voting List (AEVL) for the upcoming City of Phoenix Council Election. In this election, voters residing in Council Districts 2, 4, 6, and 8 will elect Council Members.

Vote by Mail

Voters on the AEVL will automatically receive an early ballot by mail unless they submitted a request not to receive a ballot by mail. Early ballots for the November 8, 2022, Election will be mailed by the Maricopa County Elections Department beginning Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

Voters not on the AEVL who wish to receive an early ballot by mail may submit a request online for an early ballot to the Maricopa County Elections Department at BeBallotReady.Vote or by calling 602-506-1511. Requests for an early ballot by mail must be received by the Maricopa County Elections Department no later than 5 PM on Friday, October 28, 2022.

Early ballots are available in alternative formats including Braille and large print, upon request. To request an alternative format of the early ballot, please call the Maricopa County Elections Department at 602-506-1511.

In-Person Voting

Individuals who wish to vote in person rather than by mail, can visit any voting location. Voting locations will be designated by the Maricopa County Elections Department and will be available beginning 27 days before the election from Wednesday, October 12, 2022, through Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Hours of operation may vary by location. On Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, 2022, voting sites will be open to voters from 6 AM to 7 PM. Locations are designated throughout the county and can be found by visiting Locations.Maricopa.Vote or calling 602-506-1511. Voters must provide identification at all in-person voting locations before receiving a ballot.
