Burton Barr Central Library recently issued the following announcement.
Who’s it for? Babies up to two years old and their favorite grownups
What will you do? Play, sing, and read with your baby in a warm and nurturing program.
What will your baby learn? Growing brains need to hear lots of language! Your baby will learn to recognize the small sounds and patterns in language and add new words. Babies and their favorite adults will also build social skills as they learn and play with other families with young children.
Join us in The Children's Place Garden for storytime.
Unless posted, this program is held every week at this time.
Support for early literacy programs is provided by a grant from First Things First, which partners with families and communities to give all Arizona children the opportunity to arrive at kindergarten healthy and ready to succeed. Learn more at FirstThingsFirst.org
