Graduates earn 487 degrees, certificates from the Pima Medical Institute-Phoenix

About 30.8 percent of the 487 degrees and certificates handed out by the Pima Medical Institute-Phoenix in 2017-18 were to students in programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Phoenix conferred 127 certificates and 23 associate's degrees in veterinary/animal health technology/technician and veterinary assistant programs.

Other popular programs include medical/clinical assistant, phlebotomy technician/phlebotomist and sterile processing technology/technician.

The institute enrolled 547 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
